Happy new year 2008

The sky can be magical in the Icelandic winter.
This mountain is Esja, the local mountain of Reykjavik.
I managed to caputre this small glimpse of sunshine shining on top of the mountain on one of the darkest days of the year.
I wish you all the same magic for the new year.
May the light shine on your dreams and wishes.
I wish you peace and love in 2008.

Happy New Year to you, too! I'd love to visit your beautiful country during my lifetime. Everyone I have met who has visited Iceland, has wonderful stories to tell. I'd love to collect a bottle of black sand from one of the beaches and to take a dip into one of the hot saunas...ahhh...

Thanks for stopping by Persimmon Frost and wishing me well. I hope 2008 brings you your heart's desire.

That's a gorgeous photo, btw. I love snow and mountains. Sadly, I live in a very flat part of the U.S.!

Beautiful photo. One of my very good friends visited Iceland this summer and loved it. It looks gorgeous.
